Production of the capital's theater "Bulgarian Army", the performance "Švejk" will be played at the Chitalishte "Otec Paisii" on 16th October 2018, featuring Gerasim Georgiev-Gero and Valentin Tanev. 

Gero succeeds in portraing the caracher of the good soldier Švejk - characteristic and moving, and ridiculous and sad, and in places - distant.

The performance reveals all the talent of Valyo Tanev because it requires rapid changes of state and a palette of versatile imagery - from a humble priest and a paramedicus to a militant Tatar and a cricket; a sanitarium and a prisoner, but also a feldfeel barking dog breeds and a lovingly courteous woman.

The only weapon against widespread and militant "idiotism", then and now, is laughter.
